Frequently asked questions
Everything patients ask before their first drone delivery.
How fast is drone delivery?
Most deliveries arrive within your chosen window, and the average flight takes about 38 minutes from pharmacy verification to drop-off. Drones fly direct routes, so there's no traffic to slow things down.
Is my medication safe in flight?
Yes. Medication travels in a sealed, climate-controlled pod rated for temperature-sensitive prescriptions. Every airframe carries dual batteries, dual GPS, and an emergency parachute.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes — every order requires a valid prescription ID, and your pharmacy verifies it before anything is loaded for flight. Meridian delivers; it never dispenses.
What if I'm not home?
The drone delivers to the drop-off spot you describe in your delivery instructions and captures photo confirmation. If a delivery can't be completed safely, the medication returns to the pharmacy and we reschedule at no charge.
What does it cost?
See Pricing — a pay-per-delivery option and two subscription plans. Displayed prices are provisional while final pricing is set.
Where is Meridian available?
We're launching with a defined radius around partner pharmacies; the exact coverage map is being finalized. Availability is confirmed for your address before you're charged.
What happens in bad weather?
Safety wins. Flights hold automatically in high winds, storms, or icing conditions, and your delivery is rescheduled to the next safe window with a notification either way.
Is my health information private?
Your order details are visible only to you, your pharmacy, and Meridian operations staff. (Prototype note: this site is a demonstration build and is not yet cleared for real patient data.)
